It’s okay if you’re not okay.
I made the decision when I started this blog to be real and raw even in the dark, super hard parts of anxiety. Even if it put me out there to be judged because God called me to write this blog for a specific purpose. The same way he has you here and your journey for a specific and beautiful purpose.
I want to send you a reminder today that it’s okay if you’re not okay. The world has enough highlight reels. People need to see the brokenness to see a God who heals.
It’s okay if you’re not okay because the one who holds the stars is holding onto me and you too. God doesn’t ask us to be perfect and come to him with it all together. If he did, we would fail every time! He just asks us to be willing. To come as we are, with all our brokenness and give it to him. Then in Him, we find our hope, strength, joy, renewed spirit…rest in Him!
He is the perfecter of it all. So, today I’m praying for you as much as I am myself to keep this reminder at the forefront of our minds. That we would go into battle today remembering that it’s okay if we are not okay because we have a mighty and loving Father who thinks the world of us. It’s okay if we are struggling with something because we have a sovereign and strong tower to find shelter as we work through the storm. He literally thinks we were to die for!!
Also, some tangible help- find the tribe God has blessed you with and lean on them on the hard days. Let them help! (You are not a burden!) Let them encourage you, edify and uplift you! He blesses us in the form of incredible friends for a reason! Love you friend.
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
